The Proclamation of the Kingdom of God. Jesus describes a kingdom that is “not of this world.” A kingdom that calls “sinners, not the just.” That asks us to love our enemies. A kingdom of heaven that belongs to the “meek,” the “poor in spirit,” and to those who are persecuted. A kingdom that he likened to a hidden treasure or a mustard seed. The fruit of this mystery is Trust in God. Contemplate this kingdom as we pray.
