The Presentation in the Temple Mary and Joseph take Jesus to the temple and meet Simeon – a man to whom God had revealed that he would not die until he had met the Savior. Simeon blessed them and said to Mary, “This child is destined for the falling and the rising of many in Israel, and to be a sign that will be opposed so that the inner thoughts of many will be revealed—and a sword will pierce your own soul too.” The fruit of this mystery is The Gift Of Wisdom and Purity of Mind and Body.
